After multiple requests, the deadline for the 2006/2007 Canada's Top 10 Companies Competitions has been extended to Wednesday, September 20, 2006.!

Canadas Top 10 Life Science Companies Competition has once again enriched its program. This year a new competition has been added to the program to showcase Canada's emerging bioproduct, energy and environmental technology sectors. Both the Canada's Top 10 Life Science Companies Competition, and the Canada's Top Bioproduct, Energy & Environmental Technology Companies Competition are annual national competitions.

The Geee! in Genome Exhibition Returns to Charlottetown this Fall!

Back By Popular Demand, the Geee! in Genome Exhibition has returned to Charlottetown for the last stop of its final cross-Canada tour. Located at the Confederation Court Mall, this national, innovative traveling exhibition explores the world of genetics and how research and technology in this field are shaping our world. It also showcases the work of great Canadian scientists. The exhibit will be open to the general public and for school group tours during regular mall hours until November 10, 2006. Produced by the Canadian Museum of Nature in partnership with Genome Canada and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Geee! in Genome Exhibit is hosted by the Prince Edward Island BioAlliance and Genome Atlantic, and presented locally by Agriculture & Agrifood Canada, the City of Charlottetown, Rx & D, GlaxoSmithKline, PEI Potato Board, MRSB, AquaBounty Canada, and Fortius Pharmedica.
