UPEI/AVC Awarded New Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Aquaculture
Friday, January 13, 2012 The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Canada’s Minister of State for Science and Technology, recently announced a new Canada Research Chair at The University of Prince Edward Island’s Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) . Dr. Sophie St-Hilaire joins UPEI as the Canada Research Chair in Integrated Health Research for Sustainable Aquaculture. Her research has taken her across the world, having studied aquaculture in Chile, Europe, and both coasts of North America.

Novartis PEI Welcomes New Head of AquaHealth
Monday, January 2, 2012 Novartis PEI is pleased to welcome Dr. Jason Cleaversmith as the new Head of AquaHealth operations in Prince Edward Island. Dr. Cleaversmith comes to Novartis most recently from Innovation PEI, where he was Senior Investment Manager in Biotech for the Province of Prince Edward Island.
